The Pacific Alliance for Catholic Education (PACE), administered by the School of Education, is accepting applications for its 21st cohort. PACE is a post-graduate teacher education program where candidates earn tuition-free graduate degrees in education while they serve as teachers in Catholic schools. wojcikThe School of Education has announced the new director of the Pacific Alliance for Catholic Education (PACE). Steven Wojcikiewicz will begin his official duties on Wednesday, February 1, directing a number of strategic partnerships with Catholic P-12 schools and dioceses in the Pacific Northwest, Northern California, and Hawaii.

Wojcikiewicz brings deep experience as an educator and scholar in teacher education and policy. After completing his B.A. in history and economics at University of Notre Dame, Wojcikiewicz earned his M.A. in education from the University of Portland through the Alliance for Catholic Education (ACE) based at Notre Dame. After three years teaching high school social studies and band at Bishop Kelly High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma, he went on to earn his Ph.D. in educational psychology and educational technology at Michigan State University.
