Learning Labs Series: “Leaving a Lasting Impression on a Daily Basis,” Sept. 23

The Pamplin School of Business’s Learning Labs Series continues with “Leaving a Lasting Impression on a Daily Basis” with Rich Cardona on September 23. Learn why creating content on LinkedIn is so important and why it must be done quickly before saturation. Register using this link.

According to Cardona, while technology and business landscapes change faster than most can keep up with, having an online presence for your business and/or professional reputation are a requisite. He is a first generation American and retired Marine Corps attack helicopter pilot whose company, Rich Cardona Media, helps executives and entrepreneurs become more visible by using video to create content and social media strategies.

Women In Business Showcase, March 11

The Pamplin School of Business Education Series is pleased to announce the kick-off of Women in Business Showcase, hosted at the Portland Art Museum on Monday, March 11, 4-7 p.m.

The showcase shares the stories of C-level female professionals and how they rose to the top, featuring Shannon Riggs of Finn Partners as emcee, and moderator Julia Meskel of the Portland Art Museum.

The C-Executive Panel will include:

  • Paula Hayes, CEO, Hue Noir Cosmetics
  • Katherine Phillips Durham, Principal KMD Consulting, former CMO/VP, The Standard and HP

Third Annual Operations & Technology Symposium – Big Data

The Pamplin School of Business is pleased to present its third annual Operations & Technology Symposium as part of the Pamplin Education Series on Thursday, October 24, 4-7 p.m., in Bauccio Commons. This year’s theme is “The Importance of Big Data in Today’s Business World.” The symposium will feature Abhijit Pandit, chief technology officer for OHSU, and various breakout sessions to choose from.
