First Avenue Career & Grad School Expo

First Avenue Career & Graduate School Expo, April 9

April 6, 2015

hThe First Avenue Career and Graduate School Expo will be held on Thursday, April 9, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Chiles Center. There will be more than 100 organizations recruiting for summer, part-time, full-time, and graduate school opportunities. In addition, from 1 to 2:30 p.m., over 30 professionals will share information about career opportunities in a variety of industries during Link In Live. A comprehensive list of attending organizations and professionals can be found on the First Avenue website at https://olapcfirstavenue.org/.

In preparation for the fair, the career services office is hosting “How to Work a Job Fair” workshops and will offer extended express advising hours. Students who attend the workshops get free entry to the fair:

  • Monday, April 6, 4 p.m.
  • Tuesday, April 7, 1:30 p.m. & 4 p.m.
  • Wednesday, April 8, 1:30 p.m.

Extended express advising hours for resume review will be Monday, April 6, Tuesday, April 7, and Wednesday, April 8, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
