Physical Plant Staff Changes

September 13, 2013

1aDoe150The physical plant has made some changes in the staff of their carpentry shop, according to director André Hutchinson.

Dave Doe (pictured) has been reassigned so that he can devote his time to special carpentry projects. Evidence of Dave’s considerable talent and craftsmanship can be found throughout campus; recent examples include furniture in many of the dormitory chapels, the Saint John’s Bible display case in the Clark Library, and new podiums for formal university events and ceremonies.

Bret Sorg will move to the carpentry foreman role. He has extensive experience as a finish carpenter and commercial fixture installer, and was introduced to the construction trades by his grandfather, who was a carpenter in Germany.

Brian Tatro has also been hired as a staff carpenter. He joins the team with more than 22 years’ experience as a carpenter and foreman with Todd Construction.

For more information contact Hutchinson at 7306 or hutchina@up.edu.
