Covert Gallery: Photography Exhibit Opening Reception, March 22

Join us at the opening reception for the Clark Library Juried Photography Exhibit on Friday, March 22, from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., in the Dr. James T. Covert Gallery. The exhibit features the winning photographs chosen from over 150 entries submitted during our recent contest. This collection of fine art photographs reflects the creativity of the UP community. We are pleased to announce that the winners from among UP students, staff and faculty are:

Clark Library Photo Contest: Share Your Work!

It’s time to refresh the Clark Library Juried Photography Exhibit, which showcases fine art photography by members of the UP community. Do you have photographs that could be contenders? Current students, staff, and faculty are eligible to participate and can enter up to five photos taken anywhere at any time. The entry deadline is Friday, February 1. The winning photographs will be displayed in the Dr. James T. Covert Gallery in late spring. Visit the website for more details on entering your photos.

Clark Library Photography Exhibit Finalists

We are pleased to announce the selected photographs for the Clark Library Juried Photography Exhibit. There were over 250 entries and the jury narrowed the field to twelve, which you can preview online. These photographs will be installed in the library soon, and on display for two years. Congratulations to our talented student, staff, and faculty photographers!

Photo Entry Deadline Extended to March 16

hThere is more time to enter photographs for the Clark Library Juried Photography Exhibit, as the deadline is now after spring break. Faculty and staff can take advantage of picture taking opportunities during the break, or find time to sift through existing photographs that might be contenders. The exhibit showcases the University community’s experiences and connections through fine art photography. The inaugural 2013 exhibit has been on display on the upper floor since the library building reopened, and library staff look forward to refreshing the exhibit and displaying more work from the UP community. Entries are due by March 16.

Randy Hetherington, education, co-presented Training transformative leaders: Valuing teacher wellness in complex change. Virtual paper presentation at the Association of Independent Liberal Arts Colleges of Teacher Education (AILACTE) conference.
