Brown Bag Retirement Readiness Discussion, Oct. 22

October 20, 2014

hThe Office of Human Resources will be coordinating a five-part brown bag lunch series focusing on developing a holistic approach to retirement readiness. This series is geared towards faculty and staff who are 55 years of age or older and will occur throughout the 2014-2015 academic year. The next session, presented by Cascade Centers Inc., will address the emotional aspects of making the transition to retirement. It will take place on Wednesday, October 22, noon to 1 p.m., in the Terrace Room in Bauccio Commons. Please feel free to bring your spouse or significant other. Refreshments will be provided.

Natalie Nelson-Marsh, communication studies, participated as a panelist at the BizWomen Coalition Thought Leader Forum on January 26. Nelson-Marsh was invited as an expert to participate in the discussion of “Organizational Transformation – The Impact of COVID on the Future of Work.” Nelson-Marsh also attended a Western States Communication Association (WSCA) Teaching Workshop about “Preparing Students to Self-Advocate and Articulate the Value of Communication to Future Employers.”
