Palanca, Please

March 16, 2015

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAA group of 36 students will be attending the next Encounter with Christ Retreat, along with 22 student leaders, from March 20-22. Faculty and staff are asked to consider writing a note (palanca) to students they know on retreat. This is an opportunity to encourage students and express appreciation for them outside the classroom. Each retreatant will receive an envelope of surprise palanca. Please do not discuss this concept with students to keep it a surprise. A list of those going on the retreat can be found at www.up.edu/campusministry/palanca.

Please submit your palanca to the Campus Ministry office in the Pilot House or St. Mary’s. Mark envelopes with “Encounter Retreat—(student’s name)” and bring it by Thursday, March 19. For more information contact Beth Barsotti, Campus Ministry, at 7463 or barsotti@up.edu.
