The human resources office would like to remind the University of Portland community to review and be knowledgeable about the University’s Harassment-Free Work Environment Policy and the collective responsibility to promote and ensure a campus environment that is free from harassment and discrimination. The policy covers all faculty, staff (including student workers), and students. The policy is available at this link. There is also a link on that page to the Student Handbook, which provides additional information for students.
Please contact Bill Jenkins, human resources, at x8784, or anyone else in HR if you have concerns about unlawful harassment or discrimination. This is also a reminder to managers and supervisors to immediately contact HR whenever an employee brings concerns about unlawful harassment or discrimination to your attention, no matter how big or small the concern may be.
