Faculty Research Day, Jan. 8

December 15, 2014

profsThe University’s Faculty Research Day program will be held on Thursday, January 8. Each panel in the event will have faculty from across disciplines and schools who will offer brief five-minute perspectives on the day’s theme, followed by open discussion for new insights and potential collaboration. University president Rev. Mark L. Poorman, C.S.C., and University provost Tom Greene will host a lunch to begin the afternoon, and a cocktail hour with hors d’oeuvres will complete the day. After the informal, brief presentations, the conversation can flow freely and everyone attending the panel  should join the conversation.

In case anyone wants to use powerpoint or a video for part of his/her presentation, please visit the Butine Grant page in Moodle. Instructions can be found here. With this shared file drive, faculty can log in once to access all presentations for a much smoother transition between presentations.

Registration for the day is closed and lunchbox orders are in, so please contact Lauretta Frederking at tas@up.edu if you wish to attend or if there are any questions.
