Corrados Win Spirit of Holy Cross Award

September 23, 2013

1acorrado150Longtime University friends and benefactors Al and Sue Corrado have received the 2013 Spirit of Holy Cross Award, given annually to lay collaborators of the Congregation of Holy Cross, United States Province of Priests and Brothers. The award acknowledges the critical importance the recipients play in living out the vision and mission of Holy Cross founder Blessed Basil Moreau to make God known, loved, and served through education, parish, and mission settings.

The Corrados have given more than $10 million to various projects at the University. Al, a 1955 alumnus, joined the board of regents in 1991 and has served ever since, including six years as its chairman. Corrado Hall, a three-story residence hall built in 1998, was named in honor of the couple. For more information contact the marketing and communications office at 7202.
