Thirty-seven students will be attending the October Encounter with Christ Retreat along with 22 student leaders from October 30-November 1, according to Beth Barsotti, Campus Ministry. Faculty and staff are asked to consider writing a note (palanca) to students they know who will be participating. This is an opportunity to encourage students and express appreciation for them outside the classroom. Each retreatant will receive an envelope of surprise palanca. Please do not discuss this concept with students to keep it a surprise.

A list of students who are going on the retreat can be found at www.up.edu/campusministry/palanca. Please submit your palanca to the Campus Ministry office in St. Mary’s. Mark your envelope with “Encounter Retreat—(student’s name)” and bring it by Thursday, October 29. For more information contact Barsotti at 7463 or barsotti@up.edu.
