The First Avenue Career Expo will take place on Friday, April 5 from 10 a.m. t0 3 p.m., at the Chiles Center. Students will have an opportunity to talk to recruiters about summer jobs, internships, and full-time opportunities as well as graduate school. Career services is offering eight “How to Work a Job Fair” workshops and extended drop-in hours prior to the fair. The Engineering & Science jobs fair sponsored by the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) student chapter is on Friday, February 22 from 1-4 p.m. in Shiley Hall. There are over 30 organizations that will be sharing information with students and alumni about internships and full-time job opportunities. Daily drop-in hours for students: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, 2-4 p.m.; Thursday and Friday, 10 a.m. -12 noon, Orrico Hall lower level. Drop-in hours for résumé and cover letter review are on a first-come, first-served basis and are limited to 15 minutes. No appointments are needed.
