Accounting Mentors Forum
The Accounting Mentors Forum (AMF) is designed to create community and informal mentor- and menteeship among all majors. Lower and upper class persons are have an opportunity to work on homework, class projects, and socialize. AMF meetings are held most Thursdays evenings. Food and drink are provided.
The UPAA/BAP partners with local non-profit Cash Oregon by providing volunteers to the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program. Students learn valuable tax related skills while putting thousands of dollars back into the hands of the most vulnerable Oregonians. Each student spends approximately 25 hours of intensive training to become certified and completes 60 hours of direct service.
