Position Descriptions

Treasurer:

  • Handle finances
  • Prepare and tracs semester budgets, reallocations, reimbursements, and some purchasing
  • Manage the club’s fundraising initiatives, including overseeing firm research, drafting grant letters, and meeting with University staff in the Development Office

Secretary:

  • Coordinate Executive Board meetings
  • Send out meeting notices to the leadership team
  • Record the minutes and attendance at speaker meetings and other events
  • Maintain the membership roster and UPAA’s Google Drive account
  • Record the required hours for membership in BAP

Vice President of Marketing:

  • Assist in planning events, developing new ideas, and engaging practicing business professionals to speak at club meetings
  • Advertise events to draw accounting and non-accounting students to events
  • Maintain relationships with students

Director of Website & Social Media:

  • Maintain website and Facebook page
  • Coordinate advertising efforts for UPAA and BAP events
