Learning that Makes a Difference

The Nursing Virtual Learning Center  delivers academic nursing material to both students and faculty in a flexible format available 24/7.   What started out as a way to deliver continuing education for for adjunct faculty who can’t make it to campus for F2F time, broadened to include unique mini courses on unique topics such as  Microethical Decision Making and Gender Awareness uses digital badges to promote professional development and lifelong learning.  In this podcast, Dr. Lorretta Krautscheid, Assistant Professor and Master’s Program Director for the UP School of Nursing,  talks about the launch of the Nursing Virtual Learning Center (VLC) and the impact the courses are having on students, faculty, and the curriculum.

Being able to create Virtual Learning Center has allowed us to deliver education in a format that’s effective, meaningful , and making a difference.
