It’s the month of love. Instead of swiping right, students from the Pamplin School of Business on Monday, February 1, were speed dating with prospective companies, looking for their perfect matches. Was their encounter meant to be? Only time will eventually tell. These juniors and seniors spent five minutes with the companies exchanging resumes, contact information, and a few snippets of their past experiences. While some interactions were awkward, many students and companies were able to connect with their potential matches on LinkedIn, some where even offered a rose (interview) to get to know each other even better. Love is in the air for these students and companies, as there will be another round of Speed Networking on Monday, Februrary 8th.
