I am originally from Grays Harbor Washington. I am a rising senior at UP. My major of study is Biology with an environmental concentration. Why am I participating in Study Abroad: It is my first time studying abroad as well as traveling internationally. My main motivation was to experience the nature and wildlife of Spain.
I hope to gain valuable lessons on the history of Spain’s burial grounds and the remains of individuals along with their possessions at the time of death. Theology questions: What is the significance behind the placement of certain bodies in the graves? Leadership development: Resilience. I hope to grow through making valuable connections along this journey.
