Lindsay Radu attended University of Portland and completed her undergraduate degree in Global Business and German Studies in 2006. During her tenure at University of Portland, she was not only a Salzburger, but also a student in Dr. Mitchell’s first Technology and Operations Management course and regrets that she was unable to complete her major in this area as a major did not yet exist.
Following graduation, she worked in various Project Management roles at Nautilus, Inc., where she gained her PMP and much needed experience in operations. In 2008, she shifted from consumer products into healthcare at Kaiser Permanente, where she has worked for the past 10 years.
During her tenure at Kaiser Permanente she completed her MBA with Washington State University and her Six Sigma Black Belt with University of Michigan. She has worked in roles ranging from Project Management in Finance and Operations and most recently as the Senior Director of Continuing Care Services, which includes home-based patient populations of Hospice, Palliative Care, Home Health, Primary Care at Home and Skilled Nursing Facilities.
She is excited to participate in the OTM Executive Advisory Board to support program development to prepare students for future endeavors.
Advice to students: Take advantage of the opportunities presented to you while in the OTM program and University of Portland… you will be thankful you did!
