Is MoveUP just for donating items?

Students are allowed to go through donations and repurpose them before they are donated to community organizations! We pick up donations from each location daily and will be offering students a chance to look through all of them soon. Look out for more information shortly!

What types of items can I donate?

We accept food, personal care, clothing, furniture, small appliances, bedding, electronics, and various supplies! For more information, visit our Donate page and check out our donation guide!f

Where can I drop off donations?

There is a designated location for each dorm, and off-campus students can donate inside the front office of the Mailing Center. For more information, visit our Donate page.

How can I volunteer for MoveUP?

What happens to the donations after they are collected?

MoveUP workers and volunteers will sort donated items to determine if they stay within the UP community to be sold at a discounted price to students or be donated to various community organizations.

Is MoveUP only for students?

No! Faculty and staff are welcome to donate, volunteer, and spread awareness about the initiative!
