PSY 494 Research
Participate directly in the research process with a University of Portland faculty member. Before enrolling a student must consult with a faculty member to define project. Prerequisites: PSY 214, PSY 215
University of Portland College of Arts & Sciences Summer Undergraduate Research Experience (SURE) Program
Students can do research during the summer as part of the UP College of Arts & Sciences Summer Undergraduate Research Experience (SURE) program. The SURE program is a summer research program funded by the University that provides a salary and housing on campus for students for up to 10 weeks of summer research. Applications are currently CLOSED.
Note: The application process is very competitive. Dr. Berger received 34 applications for Summer 2021 and 17 applications for Summer 2022. She supported 2 students each summer (5.88%-11.76% acceptance rate). Dr. Berger will not participate in the SURE program during Summer 2025 due to teaching abroad at the University of Portland Salzburg Center in Austria.
