Agreement and Signatures

As a KDUP DJ, you must agree to the following duties and responsibilities:

I will check my UP email regularly for KDUP Newsletters and other announcements.

I will attend all mandatory meetings and events.

I will put forth an honest effort towards delivering a cohesive radio show to KDUP listeners, including:
broadcasting my show every week during the semester (excluding mandated breaks and finals week)
maintaining a lively and consistent radio voice and presence
striving to ensure uninterrupted music broadcasting (i.e. never relying on Wi-Fi or using free streaming services)
putting personal effort into promoting one’s radio show
regularly communicating with DJs and staff members about suggestions and ideas for the radio station.
I will respect the broadcasting booth by:
keeping it clean, orderly, and free of graffiti and trash
taking care of all broadcasting equipment and notifying staff immediately of any damage that may occur
complying with FCC and other KDUP broadcasting regulations
being courteous and respectful to all other KDUP DJs, street team members, staff members, and affiliates of Student Activities
Non-compliance to any of the listings above may result in removal from KDUP and denial of further card access to the radio station.

DJs must notify the Program Director in cases of anticipated absences. If you fail to properly save a Format Report, you are absent. More than TWO unexcused absences will result in suspension from the KDUP station.
