UP tech tip written on a chalkboard with a lightbulb drawn in chalk

Today we have a very simple but very handy tech tip for working in MS Office. Very often we will find ourselves with a document that has the formatting we want applied to one section. Trying to match the rest of the document to it can be a pain. Format painter to the rescue! It lets you easily copy and paste formatting from one highlighted section to any other text in your document. You can find Format Painter in all Office app on Windows. On Mac you’ll find Format Painter in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and OneNote (but not Outlook). It’s also starting to show up in Office Online (the web based version of Office) where it’s available in Word Online and PowerPoint Online.
