How to Use the Doc Camera with Distance Learners

You can use the document camera in the classroom to share physical media digitally, so that both students in the classroom and students online on Zoom can see it.

The first thing to do is turn on the Document camera by pressing the power button – the light will come on, indicating that it is working.

Then, on the desktop, open the “Ladibug” application from the desktop.

Share your screen now, if you haven’t already. A window will pop up, showing what the document camera sees. This will be projected on screen, and if you are sharing a screen, participants in the web call will see this window as well.

Click on the four arrows in the top right corner in order to make the doc camera feed full screen.

Now, you can use the Document Camera and everyone will be able to see it!
