The non-profit organization Idealist.org is hiring paid Storytelling interns for their Portland office! Interns would be responsible for helping tell inspiring stories of people turning their good intentions into action by creating biweekly content for Idealist’s social innovation blog series, pitching Idealist content to other media outlets, finding stories from lesser-covered regions, and evaluating the reach and impact of Idealist’s blog posts. Requirements:
Writing samples and/or blog experience
List of potential stories for Idealist’s blog
Invested in helping people take action to create a better world
Three recommendations of resources that social entrepreneurs would enjoy
Communication, English, Management Communication, Marketing and Management, and/or Organizational Communication majors
Internship Details:
Part-time internship
$12/hour
15 hours a week for 4 months
