Paramine Wallet Collection: The Future of ON-THE-GO Wallets
Paramine, a University of Portland student-run company, officially launched its Kickstarter Crowdfunding Campaign to raise $5,000 to produce its first batch of revolutionary On-The-Go Wallets packed with many features that can make life easier. The Kickstarter began on September 5, 2018 and has since reached its goal!
Paramine reinvented the wallet with inspiration from creators across the world designed for everyone. The Paramine Wallet Collection design consists of a weather-resistant leather, quick-performance design and a comfortable, minimal fit that creators, travelers and people on-the-move would love to have.
“We are unconsciously hesitant of damaging or taking our expensive leather wallets whenever we go out, travel, or create,” said Devin Ajimine, Founder of Paramine. “That is why we designed the Paramine Wallet Collection to provide the durability we all want with the quick and minimal features we all need. Plus, you won’t break your wallet, literally and figuratively.”
When you’re out discovering the world and creating content, Paramine Wallets are exceptionally handy. Not only is it stylish, but the wallets are designed to be durable whether you’re taking it to a board meeting, to the breathtaking hiking trails of the Pacific Northwest and beyond.

CrossFit Advantage
Over the summer, I ran my own CrossFit business at my home gym, CrossFit Advantage in Lynnwood, with the help of my boss and mentor, Cody Looney. The programs I created were called Alpha Women, a ladies only fitness class, and Alpha Teens, a co-ed teens strength and conditioning class.
The process I took to create my business included creating the workout plans for the program, advertising the programs, which involved me hosting public speeches at the four schools in my town, as well as going to businesses to post my flyers, recruiting athletes through social media with videos, posts, and my own connections, coaching the six-week long classes, and handling finances of billing athletes and paying rent for coaching my programs at the gym.
This experience was very insightful into starting my own business and it was an absolute blast coaching athletes of all ages and fitness levels to help create positive change in their life. My favorite part about coaching CrossFit is seeing the positive impact I can make on athletes’ lives and watching them grow not only with their physical strength, but also with their mental strength, confidence, and overall happiness. Not only did I start a business I am passionate about with the help of my head coach, but I helped others get started on their journey of positively changing their lifestyles.
