Resiliency Planning

Advanced applications of engineering principals to plan, design and deliver a comprehensive resiliency plan in preparation for the next natural disaster to hit the Pacific Northwest. Project delivery will comprise of a disaster recovery plan for infrastructures, systems and facilities (e.g., transportation, civil and environmental, structural, mechanical, electrical, etc.) for our sustainable future by integration of innovation and new technologies.

A “flipped classroom” structure will be used for this course. Students are expected to complete readings, discussions, and assignments outside of class via Moodle. In class time will be used for guest lectures from a variety of leading voices and perspectives in the field. All guest lectures will be recorded and live-streamed by Academic Technology Services & Innovation.
