Festival for Portland Audubon Book Club for people in their 20s and 30s to discuss conservation issues, animal science and bird behaviors. These are held once a month at Heron Hall at the Audubon Society of Portland. This month The Hidden Lives of Owls: The Science & Spirit of Nature’s Most Elusive Birds is being read.

Directions: from I-5, take Exit 289, follow SW Nyberg Street east and turn left onto SW Nyberg Lane. The parking area will be on your left at 5855 SW Nyberg Lane, Tualatin, OR 97062

Sarah Swanson and Max Smith lead a group through the park looking for waterbirds, woodpeckers and songbirds. All ages and levels are welcome on this adventure.
Conservation Activist Monthly Happy Hour

The first of many to come, the audience will be able to attend this monthly Activist night where the Portland Audubon’s Society shares its long activist history. While celebrating their many wins, learning about conservation issues and new volunteer opportunities is also included.
