Spring 2015: CST 391 & BIO 391 (courses are co-requisites). This international, interdisciplinary, and innovative 6 credit course is a collaboration between professors Tara Maginnis and Vail Fletcher and weaves together two highly relevant and timely fields of study. Topics will include: ecology and evolution, vaccinations and sustainability, culture identity and social strife, and globalization and relationships at the societal and environmental level. The course includes (don’t miss this!) a ten-day experience in Tanzania over Spring Break (March, 2015) where students will have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
