Never work in there because it gets way too loud even with music playing
So true! I want to study in between classes, but its soo unbelievable in there at times. I get that people are working in groups, but I wish they could move into one of the many study rooms, use indoor quiet voices, go to a dorms study room, or there rooms. Its not fair that people who want the typical quiet library have to seek areas that are quieter, which is hard to find on a campus when the “quiet” space should be the library.
This. I feel like there are plenty of places on campus for groups to work – the commons, dorm rooms, study rooms, the pilot house, etc. and not many places for individual, quiet study. Sure there’s the lower floor of the library, but that gets filled quickly. I wish the library had a quiet rule or something, so that people would keep talking to a minimum, or at least use softer voices.
